Kango-Net

About Kango-net

St. Luke's College of Nursing was designated as a "21st Century Center of Excellence (COE) Program" by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, and Technology in 2003, and has conducted research under the theme "Nursing for People-centered Initiatives in Health Care and Health Promotion.

As part of the COE activities, "Kango-net (only in Japanese)" was launched on February 28, 2005, to promote communications and collaborations between citizens and nursing personnel through the distribution of healthcare information accumulated by nursing personnel.

St. Luke's College of Nursing believes that the key to solutions for health-related problems is to encourage citizens to make their own decisions in obtaining healthcare information and choosing how to deal with medical institution or how to create a healthy lifestyle. This is the main concept of the launch of "Kango-net". Through this website, St. Luke's will release useful healthcare information for citizens and nursing personnel, including our activities related to education, research, and practice.
